Full job descriptionA well-established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Nottingham has instructed Crowe Watson Recruitment to find their next Business Services Semi Senior, offering flexible working, a company pension, and much more. This role would suit a part-qualified or QBE accountant looking to build on their existing practice experience within a business services or accounts department. You will work closely with a varied portfolio of clients, gaining exposure to a broad range of industries while receiving ongoing support and mentoring from experienced colleagues.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Preparation of statutory accounts for a range of clients
*Assisting with bookkeeping and management accounts
*Supporting the wider team on VAT returns and compliance work
*Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
*Assisting junior team members with technical queries
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Part-qualified or QBE, with relevant UK practice experience
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive approach with a desire to progress within the profession
