Full job descriptionA well-established and highly regarded firm of Chartered Accountants in Solihull is on the lookout for a talented Business Services Semi Senior to join their friendly and forward-thinking team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension scheme, and much more. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual who is either studying towards, or has recently completed, their ACCA or ACA qualification and is keen to progress their career within a supportive UK practice environment. You will work closely with a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors, gaining broad exposure to accounts preparation, bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts, all while receiving hands-on mentoring from experienced managers and partners.

What is the day-to-day of the role:
*Preparing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
*Assisting with bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts
*Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
*Supporting senior members of the team on more complex assignments
*Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed deadlines
Required Skills and Qualifications:
*Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
*Part qualified or newly qualified ACCA/ACA (or equivalent)
*Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A proactive approach with a genuine desire to progress
