The Part-Time Finance Manager’s responsibilities:
*Oversee day-to-day financial management and reporting.
*Prepare accurate budgets and financial forecasts.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
*Manage financial systems and processes to improve efficiency.
*Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
*Work closely with stakeholders to manage financial planning and performance.
*Monitor and manage cash flow effectively.
*Assist with year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Profile
A successful Part-Time Finance Manager should have:
*A strong background in accounting or finance, preferably within the not-for-profit sector.
*Professional qualifications in accounting, such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
*Proficiency in financial software and systems.
*Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
*Experience in managing budgets and financial reporting.
*A proactive and organised approach to work.
