*Location: Selborne, Hampshire
*Job Type: Part Time
*Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 pro rata
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll/HR and Accounts Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll, HR, and accounts management, who is looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
Payroll/HR Responsibilities:
*Update monthly payroll with new starters, leavers, overtime, sickness, and other ad hoc changes.
*Process weekly timesheets and ensure timely payment to staff.
*Handle recruitment processes including preparing staff contracts and conducting new starter inductions.
*Manage staff exits and ensure compliance with HMRC submissions.
*Administer annual and ad hoc pay increases, update life assurance and pension details.
*Complete payroll year-end duties, submit reports to HMRC, and distribute P60’s and P11D’s.
*Maintain records for staff holidays, time in lieu, and absences, and conduct driving licence checks.
*Provide general HR support and advice, handle HR issues, disputes, and disciplinaries with legal support when necessary.
*Update company policies and handbooks as required.
Accounts Responsibilities:
*Manage monthly journals, process expenses, and handle credit card statements and applications.
*Perform bank reconciliations and update accounting records in Sage.
*Manage supplier relationships, including setting up new suppliers and entering invoices.
*Assist with stock checks and update costing records for various company operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant role.
*Excellent communication skills with proficiency in literacy and numeracy.
*Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
*Experience with Sage 50 Payroll and Sage accounts is advantageous.
*Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
*Excellent planning and organizational skills.
*Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Adaptable, cooperative, and willing to assist others.
*Commitment to following company policies and guidelines.
