Graduate Business Development Executive (Recruitment)Location: Birmingham / Hybrid
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 + Uncapped Commission
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
The OpportunityWe’re looking for an ambitious and driven graduate to join our recruitment business as a Graduate Business Development Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in sales and recruitment, with clear progression into a Recruitment Consultant, Senior Consultant, or Management role.
You’ll learn how to identify new business opportunities, build relationships with hiring managers and business leaders, and help connect exceptional talent with leading organisations.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role that offers significant earning potential, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.
Key Responsibilities*Identify and engage prospective clients through phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking activities.
*Build relationships with Finance Directors, CFOs, HR leaders, and hiring managers.
*Generate new business opportunities and arrange client meetings.
*Develop knowledge of local markets, industries, and hiring trends.
*Support experienced consultants in winning and delivering recruitment assignments.
*Maintain and grow a pipeline of prospective clients.
*Attend networking events and industry functions.
*Use CRM systems to manage client activity and business development efforts.
*Work towards individual and team revenue targets.
*Become a trusted advisor to clients on hiring strategies and market trends.

*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
