The Opportunity
A well Respected Family Law Firm are seeking a professional, organised, and personable Receptionist to join our busy Falkirk office.
As the first point of contact for clients visiting or contacting the firm, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and professional experience while supporting the wider legal team with a range of administrative duties. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a positive can-do attitude.
This role would suit a receptionist, administrator, customer service professional, or legal support professional looking to join a respected local law firm.
Key Responsibilities
*Meet and greet clients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
*Manage incoming telephone calls and direct enquiries to the appropriate department
*Handle client enquiries via telephone, email, and in person
*Coordinate meeting room bookings and prepare rooms for client meetings
*Manage incoming and outgoing post, deliveries, and correspondence
*Assist with new client enquiries and onboarding processes
*Maintain accurate records and update client information within the firm’s systems
*Undertake general administrative tasks including filing, scanning, photocopying, and data entry
*Provide administrative support to solicitors, legal secretaries, and the wider office team
*Ensure reception and communal areas remain professional and welcoming at all times
*Support the smooth day-to-day running of the office

Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, administration, or customer service role
*Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
*Professional appearance and telephone manner
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
*Excellent attention to detail
*Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
*Confidence using computer systems and databases
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*A positive, proactive, and professional approach to work
Desirable
*Previous experience within a legal, professional services, or office environment
*Experience using case management or CRM systems
*Knowledge of client onboarding and compliance procedures
