A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Chester is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified Business Services Senior to take ownership of accounts assignments across a varied client portfolio.
Chester has a thriving and diverse business community, and the firm’s client base reflects that, offering exposure to a range of business types and sizes. The team is experienced and collaborative, with support to progress to Assistant Manager and beyond. Crowe Watson Recruitment has a strong presence across the North West accountancy market.
What’s the day to day of the role:
*Preparing and reviewing accounts for a varied portfolio of clients
*Assisting managers and partners on more complex assignments and technical matters
*Acting as a reliable point of contact for clients and handling queries confidently
*Supporting the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns as required
*Supervising and mentoring junior members of the team
Required skills and qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified, with a solid accounts preparation background
*At least three years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience preparing accounts for a range of client types to a high standard
*Good working knowledge of accountancy software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks
*Professional client facing manner, well organised, with the ambition to progress in practice
