We are looking for an exceptional interim Asset & Development Manager to support the development and enhancement of the Council’s Housing Assets.
Key Responsibilities:
*Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and standards within the housing portfolio whilst identifying new housing development partnerships and managing innovative solutions to expand and improve the council’s housing options
*Identifying and setting priorities for acquisition, new build, investment, regeneration and disposal to achieve optimum value
*The development and management of an asset management strategy, ensuring that housing assets are safe and continually improved to provide quality living conditions for residents
*Lead the delivery of affordable housing throughout the district, aligning with corporate priorities, including the acquisition and delivery of new council housing and utilising Housing Revenue Account (HRA) land-led development opportunities
*Provide an effective combination of technical expertise and leadership
Key Requirements:
*Bring extensive Housing Asset and Development experience in a regulated environment
*Hold a Qualification in RICS/ CIH / Construction or similar
*An experienced and resilient individual with vast Housing leadership experience
*Be tenant focused, adaptable and tenacious
