People Advisor12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hybrid Working | Liverpool City Centre, St Helens & Other Regional Locations
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced People Advisor to join a busy and supportive team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with managers and colleagues across the organisation, providing guidance, support and practical solutions on a wide range of people-related matters. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive colleague experience and helping managers navigate day-to-day workforce challenges.
The RoleKey responsibilities include:
*Managing a varied caseload of workplace and employee-related matters
*Supporting managers with performance and attendance processes
*Advising on policies, procedures and best practice to ensure a fair and consistent approach
*Building strong relationships with managers and acting as a trusted point of contact
*Working collaboratively with teams across the organisation to deliver a high-quality people service
*Supporting recruitment, retention, talent development and apprenticeship initiatives
*Contributing to organisational projects, transformation programmes and continuous improvement activities
*Identifying learning and development needs and sourcing appropriate training solutions
*Maintaining accurate and confidential records and reports
*Supporting positive working relationships with key stakeholders
*Promoting efficient processes and effective use of systems
*Ensuring all activities comply with health & safety, equality and safeguarding requirements
About YouTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:
*Experience in an advisory role supporting managers and colleagues with people-related matters
*Strong case management experience and the ability to handle a varied workload
*Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
*The ability to gather information, assess situations and provide balanced recommendations
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
*Confidence using systems and data to support decision-making and reporting
*A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
*A commitment to delivering a high-quality service and improving colleague experience
Working PatternThis role offers a hybrid working arrangement:
*Monday: Liverpool City Centre
*Tuesday: St Helens
*One additional office day at another regional location in line with business needs
*Remaining days working remotely
