THE MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:
*Register and process purchase invoices accurately within the Dealer Management/Accounting System

*Reconcile supplier statements prior to BACS payment runs

*Monitor and manage the Purchase Ledger inbox

*Handle supplier calls and correspondence in a courteous and efficient manner

*Process employee expenses for payment via BACS

*Provide month-end administrative support to the Finance team

*Maintain accurate Purchase Ledger records and update and maintain accounting databases & spreadsheets

*File purchase invoices and supplier statements accurately

*Support the wider Accounts Department with additional accounting and administrative duties

YOUR PROFILE.
*Previous experience in Purchase Ledger, Accounts Payable or similar finance role

*Good organisational and time-management skills

*Good numerical skills with excellent attention to detail

*Have intermediate knowledge of MS packages including Microsoft Excel

*Able to handle tasks that may be repetitive in nature, whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy

*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

SALARY AND HOURS.
*Salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

*Working hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with an hour unpaid for lunch (37.5 hours per week).

*The role is an office-based environment
