We are seeking an ambitious Employment Solicitor with at least three years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) to join my clients expanding Employment Team. This role offers the opportunity to handle a stimulating caseload, advise a diverse client base, and play a significant role in the continued development of our practice.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage your own caseload while working closely with supportive colleagues across the firm.
*Advise both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
*Handle Employment Tribunal claims, including discrimination, whistleblowing, and unfair dismissal cases.
*Draft clear, practical employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements, and workplace documentation.
*Guide clients through disciplinary and grievance issues, redundancies, restructures, and TUPE projects.
*Provide strategic, commercial, and down-to-earth advice that helps clients make confident decisions.
*Support, mentor, and supervise junior colleagues where appropriate.
*Build strong client relationships and contribute to networking, marketing, and business development initiatives.
*Keep clients and colleagues ahead of relevant legal and regulatory developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with three or more years’ PQE.
*Strong experience across a broad range of employment law work.
*Confidence to run matters independently while managing competing deadlines.
*Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
*Sound commercial judgement and an instinct for practical, client-focused solutions.
*Natural ability to develop and maintain lasting client relationships.
*Collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a busy, friendly team.
