About the Role We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Health Care Assistant to join our dedicated team in Walsall. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities*Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
*Support individuals with mobility and daily living activities.
*Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration where required.
*Observe and report any changes in health or wellbeing.
*Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
*Promote independence, dignity, and choice.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, healthcare professionals, and families.
Essential Requirements*Previous care experience is essential.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Flexibility and reliability to work shifts.
*Right to work in the UK.
Desirable Requirements*CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training preferred but not essential.
*NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
*Experience supporting individuals with complex needs, learning disabilities, or mental health conditions.
Mandatory Training Successful applicants must have completed, or be willing to complete, the following training:
*Safeguarding Adults
*Basic Life Support (BLS)
*Moving and Handling
*Infection Prevention and Control
*Health and Safety
*Fire Safety
*Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
*GDPR and Confidentiality
*Medication Awareness
