Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur well-established national business, with a strong reputation for innovation, is looking for a Sales Administrator to join its dynamic team based in Quedgeley on a full time permanent basis. The role covers a mix of sales and operational administration. It includes identifying and progressing sales opportunities, preparing quotes, processing contracts and setting up new customers. The role will vary day to day depending on business needs and workload, with tasks shared across the team rather than fixed responsibilities, so priorities can shift to make sure work is completed accurately, efficiently and within the required service levels.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships and influencing positive outcomes. You will be a confident communicator with strong administrative abilities, and able to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
-Support sales opportunities, including inbound enquiries and leads referred
-Prepare and issue quotations in line with agreed pricing and service levels
-Follow up allocated opportunities to support conversion and timely completion
-Process completed sales and contracts accurately and efficiently
-Set up approved new customers, ensuring all required information is recorded correctly
-Keep customer and sales records accurate and up to date across relevant systems
-Work in a task-driven environment, taking on work based on team capacity and business priorities
-Support a range of sales, contract processing and administrative tasks as required
-Take ownership of tasks passed across the team to maintain workflow and meet service levels
-Follow GDPR, data protection, pricing and other company policies and procedures
-Carry out additional duties as required to support the wider teams
Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week
