Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe have an opportunity to join our Technical team in Lifton as a Technical Auditor on a permanent, part-time basis, working Monday to Friday 09:00 to 14:30, with flexibility required to support audits and validations out of hours.
If you are a good communicator with an eye for detail and a logical approach to problem solving, then this is the role for you.
What you’ll be doing:
*Carrying out Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Audits, supporting the team in identifying the root cause and preventative measures to any actions identified.
*Conducting HACCP reviews with our multi-disciplinary team.
*Regularly auditing Critical Control Points (CCPs), ensuring processes are being consistently followed and product safety is maintained.
*Undertaking traceability exercises of our Finished goods and raw materials
*Maintaining the quality management system via scheduled reviews of internal systems, retailer policies & certification standards.
*Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with site teams and external service providers.
*Supporting the maintenance and development of site Integrity systems.
*Supporting with external audits, providing information, and driving the close out of non-conformances that may be raised.
What we need from you:
*Excellent communication Skills
*The ability to work independently to deadlines is essential
*A good understanding of Microsoft office applications
*Experience in auditing, ideally in Food Manufacturing, would be advantageous although full training will be provided
*Awareness of Food Safety, HACCP and Allergens
*A desire to undertake training and development
