Start: September 2026 Freelance / Contract Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a steel frame and glazing development near Towcester, Northamptonshire.
This is a substantial commercial construction project featuring a multi-span steel frame structure and an extensive package of large-scale glazing, requiring a Site Manager with proven experience delivering similar projects from start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
*Day-to-day management of site operations
*Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
*Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
*Managing health & safety compliance across the project
*Liaising with project teams, suppliers and stakeholders
*Monitoring progress and resolving site issues as they arise
Requirements:
*Proven track record as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
*Experience working on steel frame buildings
*Knowledge of glazing and envelope packages would be highly advantageous
*SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Ability to lead site teams and maintain high standards throughout delivery
