Full job descriptionYear 6 Teaching Assistant - Blackburn (BB2)Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a full-time Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Catholic school in the BB2 area of Blackburn, starting in September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role*Position: Year 6 Teaching Assistant
*Location: Blackburn, BB2
*Start Date: September
*Hours: 09:00 - 15:30
*Days: Monday - Friday
*Contract: Full-time
*School: Catholic primary school
You will be working closely with the class teacher to support pupils across the Year 6 curriculum, providing additional help where needed and contributing to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for someone who:
*Has previous experience working with children in a school or education setting
*Is confident supporting pupils in Year 6
*Is patient, enthusiastic and nurturing
*Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
*Is committed to supporting children’s learning and development
*Has a good understanding of safeguarding and professional conduct
Excellent LocationThe school is easily accessible by public transport from both Blackburn and Darwen, making it a convenient opportunity for candidates living locally. On-site school car parking is also available.
