The Ecologist will join a supportive and collaborative team, working across a varied project portfolio. The role will involve:
*Undertaking protected species and habitat surveys
* Preparing Preliminary Ecological Appraisals (PEAs) and ecological reports
* Supporting Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessments and UKHab surveys
* Contributing to ecological assessments and planning documentation
* Liaising with clients, stakeholders and wider project teams
* Supporting project delivery from fieldwork through to reporting
Requirements:
*Relevant ecology/environmental qualification
* Previous ecological consultancy experience
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
* Full right to work in the UK
* Living in or within a commutable distance of the office
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
