Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 DOE
Are you an experienced Manufacturing Engineer looking for an opportunity to work on complex, high-precision components within a highly technical manufacturing environment?
Elevation Recruitment Group are working with an established specialist manufacturer in Rotherham, supplying precision-engineered components into the aerospace sector. Due to continued investment and growth, they are looking to appoint a Manufacturing Engineer to support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes.

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role in developing manufacturing methods, supporting new product introductions and providing technical expertise to the production team. Your responsibilities will include:
*Creating and developing manufacturing methods and processes.
*Designing and developing work-holding solutions, including technical drawings.
*Simulating CNC programmes using Vericut.
*Providing shop floor support during new process and product prove-outs.
*Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
*Producing technical production documentation, including SOPs, tooling sheets and inspection sheets.
*Providing technical support and expertise to the production team.
*Applying knowledge of special processes, heat treatments and coatings.
*Supporting measurement and inspection activities.
*Providing technical support to project and commercial teams.
*Identifying risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
*Supporting continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives.
*Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
We’re looking for someone with a strong manufacturing engineering background who is confident working in a precision engineering environment.
You’ll ideally have:
*A degree in Manufacturing Engineering or an apprentice-trained equivalent.
*Previous experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
*Experience with CNC programming and Vericut simulation.
*CAD/CAM experience.
*Previous experience within the aerospace or defence sector.
*Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
*Excellent attention to detail.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
*A proactive approach and a genuine interest in improving manufacturing processes.
