A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bexley is looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Business Services Manager to take ownership of a varied client portfolio and oversee the delivery of accounts and wider business services.
The role suits someone already established at manager level or an ambitious assistant manager ready to step up. Bexley sits within the South East London and Kent corridor, offering good connectivity to the capital with a more balanced working environment, and the firm has a loyal client base and a supported route to progress further.
What’s the day to day of the role:
*Managing a varied portfolio, overseeing accounts and business advisory delivery
*Reviewing work prepared by junior and semi senior staff for quality and accuracy
*Acting as a trusted point of contact and building long term client relationships
*Supporting partners on complex assignments and strategic client planning
*Leading, mentoring and developing members of the business services team
*Contributing to business development and identifying opportunities to grow the client base
Required skills and qualifications:
*ACA or ACCA qualified with a solid business services background gained in practice
*At least six years’ experience within a UK Practice environment
*Proven experience managing client relationships and delivering to deadlines
*Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards, corporation tax and financial reporting
*Excellent leadership and communication skills, commercially minded and proactive
