OverviewWe are looking to recruit a sessional Tutor(s) to deliver Tai Chi courses in Bourne

End, Gerrards Cross and at our Beaconsfield Centre.
About usAt Buckinghamshire Adult Learning, we provide inclusive learning opportunities to

promote wellbeing and inspire people living or working in Buckinghamshire to

achieve their potential. We are part of Buckinghamshire Council and the main

provider of part-time learning opportunities for adults in the county.

Our Learning for Personal Development team, who offer non-accredited courses

ranging from a variety of Languages and Fitness to Art, Floristry, Sewing, Pottery

and a wide range of Creative Studies subjects. If you have any skills that would

make you a great fit to work with our Service, or if you have any hobbies or interests

with the potential to teach, we would love to hear from you.
About the roleWe are looking to recruit a tutor to work flexibly between 2 - 4 hours per week during

the day/evening.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering weekly classes of 5 - 11-week

courses, which stretch and challenge learners’ knowledge and skills.
Hourly rate: £22.76 - £35.45 per hour, depending on teaching qualifications

held.

About youApplicants should hold an introductory teaching/training award such as City &

Guilds PTLLS/Award in Education and Training (or willing to obtain one within 6

months of appointment).

It is essential that all our tutors can plan and deliver high quality sessions while

maintaining good records of learner progress. The successful candidate(s) will support adult learners to develop their knowledge

and skills and contribute to the development of a learner centre provision
