The Event & Retail Design Project Director sits at the heart of that delivery.
The Role
As Event & Retail Design Project Director, you will lead the UK project management team across the full project lifecycle, holding senior client relationships and driving commercial performance across the portfolio.
- Report directly to the Board and collaborate with key stakeholders at a senior level
- Lead, mentor and develop the UK project management team
- Hold overall accountability for all project delivery output across the team
- Take the lead on flagship projects from brief to delivery
- Act as senior client liaison across major accounts
- Identify and develop account growth opportunities
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Drive collaboration across design, production and installation
- Contribute to recruitment and succession planning at senior level
The Candidate
The right person for this Event & Retail Design Project Director role will have a track record of leading project management or production teams through complex, creative and high-specification installations, with the commercial acumen and client-facing confidence to operate at director level. Formal line management experience is a must to be considered.
A background in retail install, experiential or pop-up delivery is essential whilst a background within the luxury brand or fashion sectors would be beneficial. If you have come up through an agency, build house or in-house production environment and are ready for genuine strategic responsibility as an Event & Retail Design Project Director, this is worth a conversation. Candidates currently working within a luxury fashion brand environment may also be considered.
Salary lands between £70,000 and £100,000 depending on experience, with a bonus scheme, healthcare and hybrid flexibility sitting alongside it.
