Full job descriptionHybrid: 2 days in office
Congresses, conferences, exhibitions and events for industry association clients, and a full-service agency with a record for delivering them properly. A stable, close-knit team and a genuinely flexible and supportive environment, this is one not to be missed!
- Hybrid working: Wednesday and Thursday in the office, rest of the week at home
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus Christmas closure at no extra holiday cost
- Private healthcare via AXA from the end of your probation period
- Performance-based company bonus
- Pension and ride-to-work scheme
The Company
This is a full-service events agency specialising in congresses, conferences, exhibitions and events, with a strong foothold with industry association clients. The team is deliberately close-knit, and the numbers bear that out: most people have been there well over seven years. Ideas get heard, workloads are managed sensibly, and the culture is one where people actually stay.
The Role
The Event Project Manager takes day-to-day ownership of client relationships and project delivery across congresses, exhibitions, conferences and corporate events, working with the wider project team around you.
- Manage end-to-end delivery of congresses, conferences and exhibitions to client spec and budget
- Hold the primary client relationship across all assigned projects
- Plan, scope and resource projects in line with agreed timescales and financial targets
- Organise all logistics for each project
- Support the wider team on programme management
- Coordinate attendee registration and management
- Liaise with suppliers, third parties and internal departments to keep projects on track
- Attend events onsite to ensure successful delivery
The Candidate
You will already be an experienced Event Project Manager, with a background that includes congresses, conferences or exhibitions and the client-facing skills to match. Crucially, you will have come from an industry association or membership organisation environment, which means you understand how these clients think and what they need. Experience in programme and abstract management is beneficial but not essential.
Hybrid flexibility, private healthcare, a performance bonus and a team with notably low staff turnover make this worth serious consideration. This vacancy is moving quickly, so get your application across now and secure your place as a candidate for the Event Project Manager role before it fills.
