Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Lead Occupational Therapist to join a specialist private healthcare service based in Hertfordshire.
This is an exciting opportunity for a confident Occupational Therapist to take a lead role within a supportive multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs.
The RoleAs Lead Occupational Therapist, you will provide clinical leadership to the Occupational Therapy service while maintaining a hands-on role in the assessment and treatment of service users.
You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and deliver therapeutic programmes that support recovery, independence and meaningful engagement in daily life.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Leading and developing the Occupational Therapy service.
*Providing specialist Occupational Therapy assessments and interventions.
*Developing individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans.
*Supporting service users to develop independence, functional skills and meaningful routines.
*Managing and prioritising a complex clinical caseload.
*Providing clinical leadership, supervision and support to Occupational Therapy colleagues.
*Working collaboratively with psychologists, nurses, support staff and other healthcare professionals.
*Contributing to care planning, risk assessments and multidisciplinary reviews.
*Supporting service development and implementing best practice within the Occupational Therapy provision.
*Maintaining high standards of clinical documentation and professional practice.
