Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Clinical Psychologist to join a specialist healthcare service based in Bromley.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality psychological assessment and intervention to service users with complex mental health needs.
The RoleAs the Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in supporting service users throughout their treatment and recovery. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide psychological expertise and contribute to the development of high-quality, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Carrying out specialist psychological assessments and developing individualised formulations.
*Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
*Supporting service users with complex mental health presentations.
*Working closely with the wider multidisciplinary team.
*Providing psychological advice, guidance and consultation to colleagues.
*Contributing to care planning, risk assessment and treatment reviews.
*Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and reports.
*Supporting the ongoing development of psychological services within the hospital.
The Ideal CandidateTo be considered for this role, you will have:
*A Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or equivalent qualification.
*Current HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
*Previous experience working within mental health services.
*Experience working with complex psychological and mental health presentations.
*Strong assessment, formulation and therapeutic skills.
*Excellent communication and multidisciplinary team-working skills.
*The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a wider clinical team.
Experience within a specialist inpatient, rehabilitation or complex mental health setting would be advantageous.
