Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are delighted to be partnering with a client based in Durham who a group of companies who are continuing to grow. They are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their existing finance team, this is a full time permanent opportunity.
If you are an experienced and pro active Accounts/Finance Assistant looking to grow your career this could be the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
*Sales ledger management and credit control
*Purchase ledger processing
*Reconciliation of bank and supplier statements
*Handling and reconciliation of cash
*Assisting with nominal ledger reconciliations (or working towards this)
*Supporting the Accountant with month-end tasks to enable the production of monthly management accounts
*Working collaboratively with the wider finance team
Qualifications:
*Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant.
*Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
*Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
*Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
*A genuine interest in being part of a team and growing with the company.
*Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
*A team player who is happy to support and help train junior members of the team.
*Organised, proactive, and able to work well in a fast paced environment.
