Full job descriptionKenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for an experienced AV Service & Commissioning Engineer on behalf of a growing technology business based in Epsom.
This is a varied role combining technical support/service and the commissioning of new AV installations and system upgrades. We are looking for an experienced engineer with strong fault-finding skills who enjoys taking ownership of technical issues through to resolution.
Responsibilities*Provide remote and on-site technical support for AV and video-conferencing systems
*Diagnose and resolve AV, audio, control and network-related faults
*Commission, configure and test new AV installations and upgrades
*Carry out planned maintenance and reactive service visits
*Configure and modify control systems
*Liaise with customers, suppliers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues
*Complete system handovers, user training and technical documentation
About You*5+ years’ experience within professional AV installation, commissioning, service or technical support
*Strong AV fault-finding and commissioning experience
*Understanding of IP networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs and PoE
*Experience with control systems/programming
*Knowledge of platforms such as Crestron, Q-SYS, Biamp, Dante, Teams Rooms or Zoom would be advantageous
*Strong communication and customer-facing skills
*Full UK driving licence
