Full job descriptionMaintenance AssistantSalary: £40,000 + Overtime (£1,000–£2,000 on top) + Pension
Location: Stafford
Shifts: 4on 4off days and nights (2days 2nights 4 off)
About the Role
A fantastic opportunity which is not to be missed by strong Maintenance Assistant has come to the forefront. This is going to be any engineer’s dream to work in this state-of-the-art, fully automated, fast-paced factory. They have recently invested into the site and it’s a great place to work for any maintenance Assisatant who wants to develop their career both technically and/or into management.
You will be responsible for assisting with carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. The aim of the role is to learn as much as you can as quickly as you can from the engineers you are assisting, once you are fully trained and confident the aim is for you to move into a maintenance engineer role
Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Assistant
*Maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
*Engineering Qualifications
Requirements for the Maintenance Assistant.
*Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
*Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
*Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Requirements for the Maintenance Assistant.
*Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
The Maintenance Assistant will benefit from:
