Independent Review Activities
*Perform a technical assessment of the regulatory framework governing Fee Tariff Data reporting and its application within the Bank.
*Assess the interpretation and implementation of relevant FCA requirements, considering regulatory intent and prevailing industry practices.
*Evaluate the end-to-end reporting process, including methodologies, calculation approaches, data sourcing and key judgements applied.
*Review the supporting control environment, governance oversight, documented procedures and evidential artefacts underpinning the submission process.
*Highlight areas of regulatory, operational or reporting risk, including opportunities to enhance controls, consistency and reporting resilience.
*Deliver practical observations and recommendations to strengthen the overall reporting framework and support effective compliance management.
*Provide SME insight and challenge across key reporting decisions, assumptions and methodologies to support management’s assessment of reporting accuracy and completeness.
