Job Description:
Full job descriptionTotal Assist Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a specialist healthcare service in Clacton-on-Sea.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality occupational therapy to service users within a specialist mental health setting.
The RoleAs an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for:
*Assessing service users’ occupational needs and developing personalised treatment plans
*Delivering individual and group-based occupational therapy interventions
*Supporting service users to develop independence and achieve their therapeutic goals
*Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
*Completing assessments, reports and clinical documentation
*Contributing to care planning and risk management
*Supporting the delivery and development of the occupational therapy service
Requirements*Degree or recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
*Current HCPC registration
*Previous experience within mental health, rehabilitation or a similar clinical setting is desirable
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
*A compassionate and person-centred approach
