We’re recruiting an Accounts Senior for a growing accountancy practice in Solihull.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified ACCA/ACA accountant or experienced Accounts Senior with UK practice experience who is looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking firm.
You’ll work with a varied client portfolio, preparing management and statutory accounts, supporting tax compliance, handling VAT and developing strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare management and statutory accounts
* Assist with corporation tax and personal tax compliance
* Prepare and review VAT returns
* Liaise directly with clients and resolve accounting queries
* Support tax planning and wider business advisory work
* Assist with cash flow forecasts and business planning
* Review and support junior team members
* Ensure work is accurate and completed within deadlines
* Use IRIS or similar accounting software
* Work closely with Managers and Directors on client delivery
About You
*ACCA/ACA part-qualified, studying or qualified by experience
* Minimum 3 years’ UK accountancy practice experience
* Strong accounts preparation and tax compliance experience
* Good knowledge of VAT and HMRC requirements
* Experience with IRIS or similar accounting software
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisation
* Able to manage multiple deadlines effectively
* Proactive, commercially aware and keen to progress
* Confident supporting and mentoring junior staff
