Permanent | Hybrid (3 days on-site weekly)| South West, UK
Our client, a well-regarded leader in their industry, is seeking an ambitious Cyber Security Leader to join their business on a permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced cyber security professional with previous experience in a Head of or senior management role, as well as someone looking to take the next step into a strategic security position. You’ll join an established IT management team, providing leadership across cyber security, information security, governance, assurance, and resilience.

Essential Experience & Skills
*Significant experience in cyber security, information security, governance or security management.
*Demonstrable experience developing and delivering cyber or information security strategy.
*Strong knowledge and practical experience of NIST, ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials.
*Strong experience of cyber risk management, audit, assurance and remediation.
*Experience overseeing SOC, SIEM, security monitoring and alerting capabilities.
*Understanding of vulnerability management, penetration testing and security remediation.
*Experience developing cyber security KPIs, KRIs and management reporting.
*Strong people management, stakeholder management and influencing skills.
*Confident decision-making and the ability to make pragmatic, proportionate judgements based on risk.
*Broad technical understanding of modern infrastructure, cloud, applications, identity, networks and security operations.
