We’re recruiting an Accounts Manager for a leading accountancy practice in Trowbridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Manager, Client Manager or Senior Accountant to manage a varied portfolio of clients while providing proactive accounting, tax and business advisory support.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of accounts and business advisory clients
* Act as the main point of contact for clients
* Review statutory accounts, tax returns and compliance work
* Provide proactive accounting, tax and commercial advice
* Identify opportunities for tax planning and additional advisory services
* Support business development and client growth
* Lead, coach and develop junior team members
* Manage workflows, deadlines and client expectations
* Work closely with Partners and colleagues across the firm
* Ensure high standards of technical and client service delivery
About You
*ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts, tax and UK compliance
* Excellent client relationship and communication skills
* Commercially aware with the ability to identify advisory opportunities
* Strong leadership and coaching skills
* Highly organised with excellent time management
* Proactive, professional and client-focused
