We’re recruiting a Trust Director for a leading accountancy practice in Winchester.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Trusts & Estates specialist looking to lead a complex portfolio, develop a specialist service line and act as a trusted adviser to high-net-worth clients, families and professional referrers.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead and grow a complex portfolio of Trusts & Estates clients
* Provide expert advice across trust taxation, IHT, estate planning and succession planning
* Act as a senior trusted adviser to HNW individuals, families and trustees
* Oversee complex trust accounts, tax returns and IHT reporting
* Develop and strengthen relationships with solicitors, financial advisers and other professional referrers
* Drive business development and identify opportunities to grow the Trusts & Estates offering
* Shape the firm’s strategy and proposition across Trusts & Estates
* Act as a recognised technical authority across the wider business
* Lead, mentor and develop senior and junior members of the team
* Maintain the highest standards of technical quality, compliance and risk management
* Represent the firm at networking events and within the wider private client market


About You

*STEP and/or CTA qualified
* Extensive post-qualified experience in Trusts & Estates
* Deep technical expertise in trust taxation, Inheritance Tax and estate planning
* Proven experience advising HNW clients on complex and sensitive matters
* Strong track record of managing and growing a significant client portfolio
* Experience developing professional referrer relationships
* Proven business development and revenue growth experience
* Strong leadership and team development skills
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Commercial, strategic and technically authoritative
* Extensive experience overseeing complex trust compliance
