An established and growing law firm is seeking a Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with 1–5 years’ PQE to join its litigation team.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, providing commercially focused legal advice and delivering a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters
*Provide clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
*Undertake legal research and remain up to date with relevant law and Court procedures
*Draft legal correspondence and documentation
*Build and maintain strong client relationships
*Progress cases efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with Firm procedures
*Meet annual fee-earning and billing targets
*Develop new business opportunities and cross-sell services where appropriate
*Maintain high professional and client service standards
Candidate Requirements
The ideal Civil & Commercial Litigation Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer will have:
*Qualification as a Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
*1–5 years’ PQE
*Experience in civil and/or commercial litigation
*Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong commercial awareness and client relationship skills
*Excellent organisation and attention to detail
*The ability to manage competing deadlines and work effectively under pressure
*Proficiency with legal case management systems and Microsoft Office
*A proactive, commercially minded and client-focused approach
*Flexibility regarding working hours where required
