Corus is recruiting on behalf of our client for dedicated Support Workers in Kent.
Location: Kent
Pay Rate: £12.71 to 13.50 per hour
Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time
About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced and compassionate Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals in supported living and community settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to help people live independently while promoting their dignity, wellbeing, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities*Provide practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs.
*Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
*Support individuals to access appointments, social activities, and community services.
*Promote independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion.
*Maintain accurate records and follow support plans.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
*Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
Essential Requirements*Previous experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant, or Healthcare Assistant.
*Up-to-date mandatory training certificates.
*Practical Moving and Handling training certificate (essential).
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*A caring, patient, and professional approach.
*Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential).
*Right to work in the UK.
*Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends where required.
