Full job descriptionPowder Coater - permanent job opportunity for an experienced powder coater in this busy sheet metal facility, the role involves masking, spraying, and curing preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
*Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
*Keep the work area and equipment clean and organised.
*Meet high standards and deadlines.
*Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
*Mix and apply powder coating materials to achieve the desired finish.
*Use spray guns or other equipment to apply powder coating evenly.
*Monitor oven temperatures and bake products to cure the finish.
*Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments.
*Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
*Proven experience as a Powder Coater in a manufacturing environment.
*Skilled in equipment setup, maintenance, and cleaning.
*Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality powder coating finishes.
*Experience with wet paint spraying.
*Strong understanding of technical specifications.
*Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination.
*Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
*Enthusiastic about producing high-quality work.
