Job Description:
Full job descriptionOur client, a well-established national service company, is entering a dynamic phase of growth and investment — and they’re looking for a driven, detail-focused and proactive Accounts Assistant to become a key part of their expanding finance team.

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily financial operations and supporting the wider team during this exciting period of development.
*Purchase / sales ledger duties including month end.
*Issue monthly statements
*Assist with credit control & payroll as and when required.
*Process bank payments & receipts
*Regular reconciliation of all bank accounts
*Control & process the cash needs within the business including foreign currency requirements.
*Assist in preparation of a variety of regular & ad hoc financial & administrative reports.
*Ensure the finance filing is kept up to date in a timely manner.
As a successful candidate you will bring proven experience in a similar finance role, strong spreadsheet and accounting software skills, and a natural ability to stay organised and accurate even when things get busy. If you’re someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
