Campbell Grove Talent are on the look out for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join an established international business. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their finance career who wants broader experience and the chance to build towards their ACCA or CIMA qualification.
It’s a varied role, so you’ll get exposure to plenty of different areas rather than being stuck doing the same thing every day.
What you’ll be doing
*Supporting month-end, including journals, accruals and reconciliations.
*Reviewing balance sheet accounts and investigating discrepancies.
*Monitoring overheads and helping with budget and forecast reporting.
*Supporting banking, payments and cash flow activities.
*Reviewing employee expenses and resolving queries.
*Assisting with audit requests and providing financial information.
*Working with colleagues across the business to answer finance queries.
*Helping improve finance processes and making better use of systems and data.
*Getting involved in ad hoc finance and business improvement projects.
There’s also the opportunity to work with colleagues across different functions and international locations, giving you a much broader understanding of how a finance team operates.
About you
You could already be working as an Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant or in a similar role, or perhaps you’re looking for your next step after gaining some initial finance experience.
We’re looking for someone who:
*Has good experience in month end duties
*Is confident using Excel and working with numbers.
*Has good attention to detail and enjoys solving problems.
*Can manage their own workload and meet deadlines.
*Communicates well with people across the business.
*Is keen to learn and develop their finance career.
