We’re recruiting an experienced Audit Partner or Audit Director ready to step up to join a growing accountancy practice in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious audit professional to take a leading role in client delivery, audit quality, team leadership and business development, working with a varied portfolio of SMEs, mid-market businesses and larger groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee a portfolio of audit and assurance engagements
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
* Deliver high-quality audits in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and professional standards
* Act as a trusted adviser to clients, providing commercially focused insight
* Identify and develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing relationships
* Lead, mentor and develop audit teams, supporting a high-performance culture
* Drive audit quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement
* Work closely with other service lines to deliver joined-up solutions for clients
* Contribute to the strategic growth and development of the wider audit practice
About You
*ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified
* Significant post-qualified experience within external audit
* Proven experience leading audit engagements and managing client relationships
* Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and auditing standards
* Experience working with SMEs, owner-managed businesses and/or larger groups
* Strong commercial awareness and business development capability
* Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills
* Experience managing and developing audit teams
*RI status, or the ability and willingness to obtain RI status
* A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ambition to contribute at Partner level
