We’re working with a highly respected and growing UK accountancy and advisory firm that is looking to strengthen its Corporate Tax team in London.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a team where you’ll have real exposure to Partners and Directors, a diverse client portfolio and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of the Corporate Tax offering.
You’ll work with a varied client base ranging from entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses through to larger corporates and international groups, providing plenty of variety and the opportunity to get involved in technically interesting and commercially focused work.
Importantly, this isn’t a role centred purely around compliance. A significant part of your time will be spent working alongside senior colleagues to deliver high-quality corporate tax advisory services, identify opportunities and provide clients with practical, commercially focused advice.
What You’ll Be Doing*Manage a portfolio of key corporate clients, taking ownership of their tax affairs and compliance requirements.
*Work closely with Partners and Directors to deliver corporate tax advisory services to both existing and new clients.
*Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and become a key point of contact for their corporate tax requirements.
*Attend client meetings and provide practical, commercially focused tax advice.
*Identify tax planning opportunities and potential risks across your client portfolio.
*Lead, mentor and develop junior members of the team through coaching, feedback and ongoing support.
*Contribute to the strategic direction and continued growth of the Corporate Tax team.
*Represent the firm at networking events and help develop new business opportunities.
*Strengthen existing client relationships while identifying opportunities to introduce additional services.
*Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business to deliver a high-quality service to clients.
*Research and advise on complex areas of UK tax legislation and keep up to date with developments across the tax landscape.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an ambitious, technically strong and commercially minded tax professional who is ready to make an impact.
You’ll ideally have:
*CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualification.
*Significant experience in a similar role within a UK accountancy or professional services practice.
*Strong technical knowledge of UK Corporate Tax.
*Experience across both corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
*A strong client focus and the confidence to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
*Experience managing, mentoring and developing junior colleagues.
*A proactive approach to identifying tax opportunities and potential risks.
*Strong research skills and the ability to navigate complex areas of tax legislation.
*Exposure to a range of sectors would be advantageous.
