Full job descriptionOur client, a Greater Manchester council, is seeking an experienced Children’s Advanced Partitioner to join their Referral & Assessment Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Provide expert social work practice and leadership within the Referral & Assessment Team, supporting complex decision-making and risk management.
*Undertake timely assessments of children and families, ensuring children’s safety, welfare and needs remain central to all interventions.
*Lead on complex cases involving safeguarding, child protection and court proceedings where required.
*Offer mentoring, coaching and practice guidance to less experienced social workers to promote high-quality practice.
*Chair and contribute to strategy discussions, professional meetings and multi-agency planning processes.
*Ensure assessments, plans and case records are completed to a high standard and within statutory timescales.
*Drive continuous improvement by promoting best practice, reflective supervision and positive outcomes for children and families.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 years experience working as a Qualified social worker
