People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Counterbalance Driver to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the potential to secure a permanent position.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Forklift Truck Driver, FLT Operator or Counterbalance Truck Operative.
Shifts:
*Rotating weekly: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 / 14:00 – 22:00
Rates of Pay:
*£14.62 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:
As a FLT Counterbalance Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
*Safely operating a counterbalance FLT to load and unload trailers
*Moving stock from deliveries and preparing goods for despatch
*Completing pre-shift safety checks and required documentation
*Driving safely with consideration for load type, surface conditions, and the surrounding environment
*Stacking and storing pallets efficiently while maintaining care and accuracy
*Reporting any damage to pallets, goods, or equipment immediately
Essential Skills:
To be successful in this role as a FLT Counterbalance Driver you must have:
*A valid RTITB or ITSSAR-accredited counterbalance FLT licence
*A minimum of two years’ experience operating a counterbalance FLT
*Strong attention to detail and awareness of health and safety procedures
Desirable Experience:
*Previous warehouse or logistics experience
*Immediate availability
Training:
*Full site training with ongoing support throughout your assignment
