Full job descriptionOur Client, a Greate Manchester council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Adoption Support Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Complete assessments of adoption support needs for adopted children, families and adopted adults.
*Develop, implement and review tailored adoption support plans to promote stability and wellbeing.
*Provide therapeutic and practical support to adoptive families, including crisis intervention where required.
*Work collaboratively with partner agencies, schools, health services and other professionals to coordinate support.
*Undertake statutory duties in line with adoption legislation, regulations and safeguarding procedures.
*Maintain accurate case records, reports and assessments within required timescales.
*Contribute to the development and delivery of adoption support services, groups and training programmes.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have minimum of 3 year’s experience working as a Qualified social worker
