Contract: 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract, with potential extension.
Infrastructure & Security Engineer
Marshall Wolfe is delighted to be partnering with a national organisation in their search for an experienced Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join their technology team on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong infrastructure professional with a passion for cyber security to play a key role in a range of strategic technology initiatives. You will work alongside internal teams and technology partners to strengthen infrastructure, improve security posture and support the delivery of critical transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver infrastructure upgrades, migrations and modernisation projects
*Support Microsoft cloud and on-premise technologies including Azure and Microsoft 365
*Conduct infrastructure security reviews and implement security improvements
*Support vulnerability management and remediation programmes
*Assist with identity and access management initiatives
*Produce technical documentation, operational procedures and implementation plans
*Work with stakeholders across technology and business teams to ensure successful project delivery
Experience Required
*Strong experience across Microsoft technologies including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Windows Server
*Experience with Microsoft Defender and security-focused technologies
*Knowledge of security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST and CIS Controls
*Experience delivering infrastructure migration or transformation projects
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Relevant Microsoft certifications highly desirable
Desirable Certifications
*CISSP
*CCNP / CCNP Security
*Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert
*Azure Solutions Architect Expert
*SC-100, SC-200 or SC-300 certifications
