Our client, a well-established and growing logistics and distribution business based in Grays, is seeking an Inventory & Stock Control Manager to take ownership of stock accuracy, inventory processes and warehouse control procedures across a busy operation.

The Role:
As Inventory & Stock Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring stock integrity throughout the warehouse operation, leading inventory processes and implementing best practice stock management procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
*Manage and maintain inventory accuracy across the warehouse operation.
*Lead stock investigations and resolve discrepancies.
*Conduct regular cycle counts and annual stock takes.
*Analyse inventory data and produce management reports.
*Develop and improve stock control procedures and processes.
*Liaise with warehouse, transport and customer service teams to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
*Manage and support a small stock control team.
*Monitor KPIs relating to inventory performance and stock accuracy.
*Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
*Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the operation.
About You:
Previous experience in an Inventory Manager, Stock Control Manager, Inventory Controller or Warehouse Management position.
Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience managing stock counts, audits and inventory investigations.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
A proactive approach with a keen eye for detail.
