We’re recruiting an experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join a growing Personal Tax team in Bristol.
This is a primarily compliance-focused role, managing a portfolio of private clients and ensuring their tax affairs are handled accurately, efficiently and to a consistently high standard. You’ll work closely with Partners, Directors and colleagues while building strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of private client tax compliance work
* Review personal tax returns for accuracy and technical quality
* Act as a key point of contact for clients
* Ensure tax deadlines are met and work is delivered efficiently
* Support and mentor trainees and junior members of the team
* Work closely with Partners, Directors and the wider Personal Tax team
* Maintain high standards of technical accuracy and client service
* Assist with occasional personal tax advisory work where appropriate
About You
*ATT and/or CTA qualified
* Previous experience at Manager level within Private Client or Personal Tax
* Strong personal tax compliance experience
* Excellent technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Confident reviewing work and supporting junior colleagues
* Strong client communication and relationship-building skills
* Professional, organised and commercially aware
* Collaborative team player with a commitment to quality
