We’re recruiting an experienced Corporate Tax Manager to join a growing accountancy practice in Taunton.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CTA, ACA or ACCA-qualified tax professional with strong corporate and business tax experience. You’ll manage a varied client portfolio, provide high-quality tax advice and play an important role in developing junior team members and supporting the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of corporate and business tax clients
* Deliver high-quality corporate tax compliance and advisory services
* Provide commercially focused advice on corporation and business tax matters
* Work closely with Partners and Directors on complex assignments
* Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
* Review tax computations, returns and advisory work
* Mentor, coach and develop junior members of the tax team
* Identify opportunities for additional services and cross-referrals
* Support business development, networking and practice growth
* Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant developments
About You
*CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified
* Strong corporate and business tax experience
* Previous experience within an accountancy practice
* Excellent technical and analytical skills
* Strong client relationship and communication abilities
* Experience mentoring or supervising junior team members
* Commercially aware and proactive
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable with networking and business development
