Job Title: Gas Tutor / Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: West Yorkshire - Centre based

Salary: up to £44,000 + OTE of up to £8k

Unqualified Assessors will undergo training and support to complete an Assessor Qualification

Duties include:*Deliver Gas Engineering Apprenticeships at Level 3, and relevant short courses, across practical and theoretical competencies.
*Delivery of Plumbing / Renewable Energy qualifications, if competent/qualified to do so.
*Contribute to curriculum design and development, supporting the creation of practical tasks, assessments and learning resources.
*Carry out on site visits, to assess learners within their place of work, in addition to classroom-based training and workshop delivery.
*Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
*Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
Essential Criteria:*Must hold a recognised Gas qualification, (e.g. CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent)
*Must hold solid occupational experience in Gas Engineering and Heating systems.
*Ideally hold qualifications/experience in Renewable energy and/or Plumbing.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
