Full job descriptionEYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Blackpool
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3:30pm
Contract: Temporary until December 2026 (with potential to become permanent
This is a fantastic opportunity for a caring and enthusiastic individual to support children in the Early Years at a crucial stage of their development, within a welcoming and supportive school environment.
The Role:
*Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day EYFS provision
*Working with small groups and individual pupils
*Supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing
*Assisting with personal care where required
*Helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Have experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
*Be patient, caring, and enthusiastic
*Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework
*Be able to work well as part of a team
*Hold relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
The role is temporary until December 2026, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
