Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for an exciting new role with our client in Norwich who are looking for an Estimator to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for providing Tenders for new business opportunities across the globe, co ordinating and compiling clarifications to ensure the product offered meets the customers’ requirements. This role involves preparing tenders following customer requests for quotations, reviewing specifications, and producing cost estimates.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Prepare tenders promptly following the receipt of customers’ requests for quotations.
*Read and thoroughly review customers’ specifications and commercial requirements.
*Produce accurate cost estimates using the internal costing system.
*Maintain effective communication with customers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
*Liaise with internal engineering teams
*37.5 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8:00-16:45, Fri 8:00-12:30)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in tender preparation and cost estimation.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing with customers and internal teams.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*Proficiency in using costing systems and tools relevant to tender preparation.
*Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
*Ideally from an Industrial Sales background
